Twelfth Night ... sort of

On the train once more..... 4 hours to learn that glorious music.   Actually feeling quite confident about London.... Barcelona, now that is another matter!

First stop after booking in at the Imperial Gardens is at the Globe theatre where we are are meeting Jane, Jeannie & Adrian.  It is 12th Night like you have never seen it before.  I'm not actually sure it was Shakespeare, but it was great.

Le Gateau Chocolat, who wears everything from a nun's habit to a a dazzling golden kaftan was fabulously unconventional. His voice was amazing.  Katy Owen as Malvolio really stole the show.  Did anyone else see it?  The reviewers of course loved and hated it. Check it out

After the theatre, Jane in her usual canny way had managed to organise a private room for us at the Swan.  Marie joined us - the meal was great. The conversation teetered around Brexit and Trump and then moved on... if only we all could.

Managed to find time between rehearsals to visit the new extension of the Victoria & Albert Museum.   Loved that we could listen to the piano and have a drink around the new "lake".

Celebrated our 43rd Wedding Anniversary in a lovely Lebanese Restaurant - Love the buzz and throng of the Summer crowds.
