Has anyone heard of ticket splitting? I decided for my next visit to mum, I wouldn't drag Roger across the country again, but that I would go by train. I hopped on line to buy a ticket and found to my amazement a site called Train Split...which saved me £40!
When I arrived at the station and handed over my internet booking I was amazed when 22 tickets spat out for my return trip. At first I thought I had to keep changing trains but no... just every few stations when the conductor walked through I had to get out a different ticket.
A great way to save money... they even reserved seats for me! Check this out
Great to be met by Mark who picked me up at Nottingham and took me to see mum. A long journey and not a lot of time with mum, but glad I went. Very sad, but so good to be able to chat with Mark.
