A Taste of Manly

A crazy weekend... thousands of people descend on Manly to sample the food of the various restaurants and to hear the bands...

On Saturday, Roger and his sketching group met up with John Haycraft.

Sunday was time to celebrate at the Festival.  Great food and fantastic music.

Busy trying to get everything sent off to publisher before we leave for Japan! Thank goodness Caleb is a professional photographer and so early one Saturday morning we set up in an empty parking lot and 3 hours later he has managed to produce fab photos... thanks Caleb!

The Inaugural Pineapple Literary Award!

I received the Inaugural Pineapple Literary Award from Caleb and Hiromi for Mothers' Day.

Fellow author Di Harding and I decide 2019 is going to be a year of Literature... and pineapples! Ha! Ha!

Goodbye London

Joined Caleb and Hiromi in London for one night before we headed back to Oz.  Caleb had organised Junk Yard Golf... Great fun  AND I got a hole in one.... How does that work?

Fish and Chips in Matlock

Mum, loved her fish and chips and we would often head to Matlock for lunch followed by a quick trip to the Amusement Arcade where we would quickly lose all our money on one of the machines.

Mum's favourite... Just one more coin,  its about to tip over!

Eh Up! It's Derbyshire

This was an incredible walk - over the top of the Moors, overlooking Snake Pass - certainly blew the cobwebs away!
