According to the Daily Mirror Rhossili beach has beaten Spain's Costa del Sol and the picturesque Greek Islands to be voted the best beach in Europe... !
Even though the sun was shining it was a bit chilly for us. We had planned to walk out to Worm's Head (Worm the Viking word for dragon), but I was still coughing and lacking in energy and so we contented ourselves to walking down to the rock pools and along the cliffs. I can see why they filmed the Dr Who series here..."Out of this world!"

National Trust Volunteers were busy while we were there reinstalling some of the historic boundaries and creating medieval strip fields.
Be interesting to visit again when it is finished and to see what the archeologists found.
Time for a quick drink at Port Eynon Bay and then we tootled back to Swansea.
Very poignant statue for the fishermen lost at sea.... Loved it that newspapers were left in the church porch and people just dropped their money in an honesty box!
