At the end of your meal in Crete you are always presented with a free dessert and a small bottle of Raki. Often it is often watermelon (which I love) but it could also be fried dough or this some homemade dessert. After a walk along Rethymno beach we stopped for coffee but we were also served apple with cinnamon and cream & Raki all for €4.
