A walk along Rethymno (Ρέθυμνο) Beach

Instead of our early morning walk through the olive trees we decide to walk along Rethymnon Beach... and this is what it looked liked.  I should have filmed 2 hours later to show the masses of bodies lying in the full sun... but we had escaped by then to read in the shade.

 One of the things we love about Villa Cassidy is that there is such a fantastic selection of books to read... Biographies, modern and classical fiction... what joy!  We discover lots of our favourites plus a new author Anna Zourourdis and devour her books.  We try to download e-books and to buy novels in Heraklion to no avail. Will have to try London bookshops when we get there.
