Second stop, 'Miles Around Us' a lovely cottage overlooking Matlock in Derbyshire
Roger manages to do some sketching and we both find time to do some well earned walks.
The great thing about hiring a cottage is that you can invite people over for dinner... and that's just what we did! Caught up with Sarah and Mark and heard all of their news about Sarah's new job as a judge, Mark's adventures running a conference centre and Fred's amazing achievement of gaining a place in the GB diving team. Go Fred!
Loved the new cookbook they bought for me... watch out everyone, new Yorkshire recipes coming up and guess what you are all getting for Christmas!
Our next visitors were Mark, Christine and Cory. Great to see them again. Cory is so sparky. I think Mark was a bit apprehensive though as he had a 20 mile sponsorship bike ride in his Sealed Knot kit to raise funds for Cory to visit Australia.
