We had been a bit put off visiting this amazing church/mosque because of the thousands of disgorged tourists, but as we were staying nearby we picked a moment when there were no queues and we were astounded.
And then suddenly its time to go... Leaving behind Istanbul and heading for Canakalle... Gallipoli...and more....

Glorious... are a few of the words that come to mind.
We are constantly amazed by the mishmash of Christianity, Greek- Roman Myth and Muslim beliefs all integrated into magnificent art and music.
